I have r601_g_80.43.34r on my v8 , which seems to be the latest. Can anyone guide me through the process, so that I can put my firmware on MotoX ? One major improvement over previous versions is that I have Vibe & Ring at the same time as a default option

I reply this instead of Kimi Raikkonen (my friend) 
To extract SW from your V8 you need to install Flash & Backup 3.0.6 and the V8 profile
(you can found it here: http://www.speedyshare.com/270695872.html)
Please Read CG36 from phone and save it as SHX file.
Good....now you have a Reflash file ready to post it  -

On the Internet (Polish Motorola forums) I've met a guy that has 002F LP in his V8 (it's the one I desperately search for) but he says that the FB profile doesn't work with his phone! Is there anything that could be done about that?

ATTENTION the full flash does not work on v8 512mb. Users posted mixed results using this reflash on the 512mb version so use it at your own risk!
